2018 #18: WENT HOME

I think after trying the 85 degree Bakery, I suddenly had the urge to make a new goal this year and that goal is to try new places to eat or drink that people usually suggest in Instagram or Yelp and see what is the hype about. You guys already know that I am such a food lover and I just love to enjoy a good mood meal with a good company. I either go with my chinito bear or with my friends.

TO HOME...

The first spot in my new goal list, was to go to HOME SF CAFE. They have two location in Clement St. and Noriega St. I brought Marc and Rv with me to check out the place. It's been awhile since the three of us went out and just wonder around the city. I think the last time we hangout like this was last year's December.

Rv ordered the Birthday Cake Latte.

I got the Nutella Latte.

And Marc ordered the Red Velvet Latte.

We came from Sf Downtown and went all the way to Noriega Street in the Outer Sunset. To be honest I thought going there around closing time was the perfect time for us to take a bunch of pictures of the drinks, food and the place, however I was wrong. The moment we came inside the cafe, it was packed with people working on their laptops, families with kids and they did not have any available seat at that time. I felt like I walk into a typical coffee shop. As much as I'm trying to be optimistic about the situation, we ordered our drinks first and then waited for an available seat to be open.

We tried to be acquaintance to the cashier and the Bartistas since its our first time going inside the HOME SF Cafe. The cashier was nice to us, she was friendly and even started  some conversation with us while waiting for our drinks. On the other hand, the Bartistas gives us that unapproachable vibes. They did not want to make any conversation with us what so ever. But that's okay. We totally understand where are they coming from. It's towards the end of their shifts. How bias of us to say that they are not doing their job.

The three of us knows how difficult it is to work in customer service base places because we been there and still are in that same position as them. Believe me when I say, we all tried our best to treat our customers as friendly as possible but you can't please everybody. Let's just end it that note.

SELFIE WITH THE FOOD TIME!

As soon as we found ourselves a spot to seat on, the food arrived. Rv got the Chicken Meatball Pesto Toast (he ordered it with an egg on top), then Marc got the Pest Tomato with Truffle oil Toast and I got the Chicken Meatball Pesto Toast as well but with Bacon on top.

Then while we were eating our food, we were thinking about where should our next stop will be. The original plan is to go to the Mission to have some street photography of all the Murals that I always wanted to go to. But the weather was not happy that day. It was so gloomy and a little bit of rain now and then type of day.

Suddenly Rv suggested we should watch a movie. The movie starts at 6:40pm and we had some time to kill.

So while we were in 19th Ave, I suggest we should go to the Stern Receration Grove Park.

"Stern Grove is a full outdoor recreation complex with athletic fields, courts, a children’s playground and dog play area. Play tennis or croquet, pitch horseshoes or toss a Frisbee. Walk or jog around Pine Lake, or reserve Trocadero House for private events." - Stern Grove Website

Then after the park, we headed on to Stonetown Gallery Mall, just kill some more time before we watch movies at Century Theather. We watched the new movie "TOMB RAIDER". The movie was good actually. Comparing it with Angelina Jolie, I think she was more of a bad ass girl than the new girl. But I will definitely watch the 2nd movie.

Well that's all for now...

HASTA~LA LATTE!

Until next time,
