After our wedding day, we decided to go for a mini honeymoon trip near the Bay area. Since we already had our big Hawaii trip this year, and we are planning to go on three more separate big trips next year, we decided to go for local instead of going all the way out in one trip. We have to save some money and PTO hours to be able to go on those up coming trip.
Anyway back to the honeymoon trip...
We booked our last minute Airbnb house in Santa Cruz because we were busy with our wedding planning and the last minute additional wedding decoration.
We decided to go for Airbnb houses because we loved our experience in Hawaii with our Airbnb house and since this mini trip is special for us as officially married couple, we wanted a house for ourselves and be with each other's company.

Even though we are only staying here for few days, I brought my favorite carry-on luggage with me on this trip.
The best part of this Airbnb house was this huge aquamarine saucer chair.
Oh eem gee! I wanted to take this chair home as soon as I saw it. 😍
And then we go upstairs, it's an open space master bedroom.
Even the drawers are aquamarine color 😍
and house has a mini balcony next to the bedroom as well.
and this is the view when you look down from the bedroom rails.
I love this full body mirror they had near the stairs. It's been awhile since I took a selfie mirror picture.
GETTING READY TO GO OUT AND ABOUT...
Our routine : I am the first person to get ready every time we do go out simply because I take awhile to get ready and by the time my hair is dry that is when I tell my hubby bear to get ready.
I am taking this mini baby to go out tonight with my hubby. I don't usually use my brand name bags because I am afraid I might get it stained.

And then our first dinner together as husband and wife!

Then we went across the street to get some ice cream for dessert

Then the next day, we went to Monterey Bay to go to the Aquarium. The last time I think I went to Monterey Bay Aquarium was when I was in middle school. We had our 8th Grade field trip and I remember I lost my wallet that day.
Before we went inside the Aquarium, we stumble upon this Nestle Toll house bakery and they had this awesome cookie sandwich. It was so delicious, I finished it in seconds.

I was so excited to go inside the Monterey Bay Aquarium because this is the first time I am going there as an adult and with my hubby bear.
We had a selfie with a huge Seabass.

Then we were thinking of eating lunch in Carmel by the Sea, but we suddenly saw this restaurant around the Monterey Bay Aquarium and it looked so busy, we had to check it out.
And as we waited for our food to be ready, We saw this near the restaurant.

OUR LAST NIGHT IN OUR AIRBNB HOUSE
Later that night, Instead of dining out we decided to have our food to be to-go and brought it back home for us to enjoy it.
We brought the Moscato that I bought long time ago, I was saving it for special occasions.🍾 Also the Sparling water was provided from our Airbnb Host.
Hubby bear was trying to act like we were in an actual authentic Japanese Restaurant.

TIME TO HEAD BACK HOME...
The following day, it was time to go back home T__________T
I wish we have more time to explore more places in Monterey Bay and Carmel by the Sea.
I am all packed and ready to go back home. In my heart, I did not want to come back home yet but my mind says, we have to go back so we can have more vacations like this in the future.
Hubby bear wanted me to take a picture of him with the saucer chair because I keep asking him to take a picture of me with the chair and now it's his turn to sit in the chair.

Before we go back to our normal life, we had to stop by at Claw Shack to eat some seafood fest.
It was a short trip, but we had fun and we made our the 2 nights and 3 days best out of it. I personally did not want to come back home yet, however we had to go back to our reality and maybe if we have more time to go for a leisure trip we will definitely do this again.
Well that's all for now...…..
ATM : Even though I have been so occupied with moving my stuff to my hubby bear's house, I have been doing a great job on my blog posting lately. I made a task list on my gmail and my phone as well, so the more I see the task, most likely I will get it done.
