2018 #13: D'S B-DAY CAKE AND B-DAY OUTING

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE D!

So my bf's little brother (D) celebrated his 2_ Birthday this month. Although he was recovering from an illness(food poisoning) that he got days before his birthday, he still wanted us to celebrate his actual birthday. After work, we all went out to eat some pho noodle soup and unexpectedly bought a cake for him at Paris Baguette that night.

Then the following weekend, we went to Livermore for some good old shopping time with the fambam. But before we went there, we went to eat brunch at Koi Palace in Dublin. Literally we waited for an hour to be seated. Nevertheless, the food was delicious. Once we were seated the dimsum cart came by and we got our food really fast. I am always looking forward to eat the EGG YOLK LAVA BUN as a dessert. So yummy!

After that we went to San Francisco Premium Outlet to go shopping. We went to Nike's, Kipling Outlet, Clark's shoes, and Van Heusen. I think we spend almost 4 hours of shopping. Even though we were exhausted from all the shopping, we decided to stop by at a newly build area across the Outlet Mall. I think they purposely build that area as a attraction for Asian Cuisine eaters because I saw some familiar restaurant names, some obvious new name restaurant and they are all consider to be Asian Cuisine and some Pacific Island Food.

Anyway, so we went to this bakery called 85 Degree Bakery. I wanted to see what is the hype about their pastries. I was surprise a lot of people came by there in the evening just to buy pastries and also they still have a lot of different kinds of pastries in the evening. Freshly BAKED everyday! Usually bakeries only do one big batch of baking bread and pastries a day and by noon time everything is sold out already.

My newest favorite pastry from 85 Degree is the SQUID INK CORN CHICKEN. It reminds of eating a chicken pizza, I love the crunchy texture from the squid ink bread and as for the corn it gives a little bit of sweetness taste of it.

I have not tried all of the pastries they have in the bakery, but so far I am impressed. I can see why people go crazy on buying their pastries in the morning and in the evening as well. THUMBS UP FOR ME! 👍

Then before we went back home, we had a little bit of detour at InandOut Burgers to get some burgers and had it to-go.

By the time we came back home, we were all exhausted from the all the shopping, and dinning out we did that day.

Well that's all for now...

ATM : It's rainy season here in the Bay. Oh I wish I'm still in Hawaii, feeling that island breeze. ☔💧

Until next time,
