We stayed up a little bit last night to welcome the year of 2019. I think I slept around 2 am because I am still in disbelieve that 2018 is finally over and we are starting a new year again. Plus I have a new gadget that I am currently using right now. My hubbybear gave me this for Christmas gift last year. I received it a little bit later than I expected but I am so happy and looking forward to share it with you guys in the near future.
Anyway........
Today my hubbybear and I have the new year's day off, so we decided to go on our first date of the year. I know my annual sunrise chasing was canceled this year due to the fact that RV went on a vacay mode for two weeks and it will not be the same without him chasing the sunrise on January 1st. Nevertheless, I was fine not doing it this year because I think I need to have some down time since the holiday season is over. My body is telling me that I need to take a breather and take care of my well being.
My hubbybear and I went to Sakana Bune Japanese Restaurant. I have been craving for some rolls of sushi and I told my hubbybear I want to go somewhere similar to the Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurant we went in Cupertino. So my hubbybear suggested this Sushi Boat Japanese Restaurant in Geary Blvd. I did not know this Restaurant exist at all. I must say the sushi rolls that they have on the sushi boat are the typical sushi rolls that you will see served in any typical Sushi Restaurant. Nothing to crazy or different about their sushi rolls. But I did enjoy eating the Salmon Lover sushi rolls they served us because my craving for eating salmon was satisfied.
By the end of our Salmon sashimi rolls, we were so full. We will definitely come back here when we crave for sushi again.
Then after we over stuff ourselves with sushi rolls, we walked two blocks away from the Restaurant and grab some boba drinks for dessert. We went to one of our favorite boba drink spot, E-Tea in Geary Blvd next to Naya House. I ordered for the first time the Strawberry Shake with SeaSalt Creme on the top and hubbybear got the Guava drink with Aloe Jelly and Boba.
Then we stop over to my parent's house to greet my dad the Happy New Year before we head back home.
