2019 #28: LINA CHOO The Great Artist Velvet Matte Mini Lipstick Set ( MAKE-UP REVIEW)

The Great Artist Velvet Matte Mini Lipstick Set

My thoughts on the packaging: I really like the packaging of this set. The packaging set alone is really gorgeous, I really like the solid red color of the packaging and the inside has a pink glitter holder of all the mini lipstick.

If you guys do not know about Lina Choo, her luxury brand is founded in China with a global vision. Her brand is dedicated to empowering women around the world through beauty and artistry. What is cool about her matte lipstick collection is that she named all of her lipstick with people's world's greatest artists.

#5 Matisse: rich burgundy with a velvet-matte finish
My thoughts: I usually do not wear a darker color on my lips because I notice that I tend to look older when I wear darker color lipsticks in the past, however, I tried this color and it actually looks so nice on my lips when I wear a darker color outfit.

#3 Mucha: cool deep red with a velvet-matte finish

My thoughts: When I swatch this lipstick color on my forehand, my first thought was that I do not think it will suit my complexion but when I finally put it on my lips last weekend, I was impressed that I really like the lipstick color in me.

#7 Raffaello: burnt orange with a velvet-matte finish
My thoughts: To be honest, I have not used this lipstick color yet because I am waiting for the right weather and season to wear this type of lipstick color. I think I will try to wear this lipstick around my mini trip in July and will see how it will turn out.

#18 Frida: bright coral red with a velvet-matte finish
My thoughts: At first I thought this is the color that I am definitely going to use, however when I put it on my lips, it's too bright of a color that did not look flattering on my complexion.

Final thoughts: Three out of the four mini matte lipsticks, I will most likely use due to the color but other than that, the formula of the lipsticks does not bleed when you wear and it is actually creamy and very pigmented. My favorite shade is the Mucha mini matte lipstick.

By the way, this is the first time I did a  full-on review on anything related to beauty products. I usually only do make-up haul or include beauty products on my monthly currently loving items.

Well, that's all for now...

Ps: Another milestone for me! This is actually my 300th blog post on my blog! 👍😄

HASTA LA PASTA~!

Until next time,
