On May 25th of this year, my hubby bear turned 30 years old. YAZZZ~! I wanted to do something grand of his birthday but somehow my hubby bear just wanted to celebrate his birthday low-key. That means he does not want to do anything grand
He just wanted to rest and have a simple family dinner with the family outside. I respected his wishes however I did a little bit more than resting inside the house and simple dinner.

The morning of his birthday, I cooked him a special birthday stack pancakes with marshmallows frosting and sprinkles on top and made him open my birthday gift for him.
I got him a neck and back massager with a traveling bag. Recently he was complaining about his neck being hurt and I did want to help him and do a personal message for him but unfortunately, I cannot stress my hands and overwork them because of my carpal tunnel syndrome. The best thing I could think of was to get him something that he will use as often as he wants to.
Totoro Ramen
Then later in the afternoon, we went out of his birthday brunch at Totoro, San Mateo.
Since he was craving for some noodles, we went all the way to San Mateo to try this Ramen Restaurant for the first time.
Both of us got the same type of ramen; Black garlic pork ramen (but mine has extra corn added to it!)
Overall, my hubby bear and I agreed that we give this Ramen Restaurant a 2.5 out of 5 stars. The 2 star is for ramen. The broth was good and really savory. In my opinion, at least this place does not have an overprice menu like Ippudo SF.
Banana Island (Malaysian/Singaporean Cuisine)
Then dinner time happened, we went to Banana Island to celebrate my hubby bear's birthday dinner with the family.
We always get the Roti as our appetizer.
Then we tried the Hainanese Chicken (similar to Chinese Ginger Chicken)
Last but not least, of course, we got the Pineapple Fried Rice.
Superhot (Hotpot/Korean BBQ Restaurant)
Then the next day, we had a double date brunch with my hubby bear's old workers.
Ps: I did not take a lot of pictures of the food due to the fact that we waited a long time to be seated, and I was really hungry by the time we sat down.
We ate there until they close the restaurant for lunch hour and reopens at 5pm.
SOMI SOMI (Soft Serve Ice Cream Shop)
After our food coma from eating too much hotpot/korean bbq, we went to Somi Somi for some dessert.
Left Side (Mine) : Milk and Ube Flavor combination for the soft serve Ice cream with Macaroons
Right Side ( Hubby bear's) : Matcha Flavor soft serve Ice cream
