I'm proud to say that I am MY (fandom name of Aespa)
It took me several months to finally share my mini รฆspa merch haul, but the wait has made it even more exciting! Months before attending the รฆspa concert back in January, I gradually started collecting some of their latest merchandise. I carefully selected each item, making sure they were things I genuinely wanted to wear or bring to the concert. Every piece felt special, adding to the anticipation of seeing them perform live. Now, after months of cherishing these collectibles, I’m thrilled to finally share my mini haul with you all!

Let’s start with the most essential item—my lightstick! No official fan experience is complete without one, right? Owning an รฆspa lightstick felt like a must, and over time, I even got a stand for it along with some adorable accessories. Since I’m a huge fan of Winter, most of my purchases revolve around her. Just look at how stunning my lightstick is! Doesn’t it remind you of Sailor Moon’s wand? It’s truly magical!
Next up are my shirts. I got four different รฆspa t-shirts, each inspired by their latest album and their single Whiplash. My absolute favorite is a black t-shirt featuring their faces—it's stylish and a perfect way to show off my love for the group. My second favorite is a baseball jersey-inspired t-shirt. I chose the one with "MY" printed on the back because, as a proud fan, I am part of the MY fandom!

I never screamed in fan chants or fought in comment sections. I didn’t own every version of every album or flood my social media with fancams. But still, I was here—watching, listening, loving—quietly.
Aespa had a way of pulling me in. It wasn’t just the music, though "Black Mamba" did hit different on tough days, and "Next Level" still made me dance in the kitchen when no one was looking. It was their energy. Their concept. The way they blurred fantasy and reality, AI and emotion, without losing the heart that made them feel real.
I admired them from a distance, but never felt distant. I celebrated each comeback, whispered "slay" under my breath at their stages, and smiled like a proud older sibling when NingNing crushed another live vocal or Winter nailed choreography that looked impossible. I knew the members’ names, their quirks, their strengths. I cared—but not in the way that made me gatekeep or go to war online.
I didn’t need to prove I was a fan. I just was.
✨️FINAL THOUGHTS✨️
Being a K-pop fan, especially in a world of stan culture, can be intense. But my love for Aespa didn’t need to be loud to be deep. It was in the playlists I replayed on quiet walks. The music video premieres I stayed up late for. The way their ambition inspired me to chase a little more of my own.
I’ll always root for them. Silently, maybe. But wholeheartedly.
This isn’t the end—just a moment of reflection. A soft thank you. For the joy, the style, the confidence, the beats, and the bravery. To Aespa, from one quiet fan who was listening all along.
