Glowing into My 30s: My Current Skincare Haul & What’s Actually Working

Now that I’ve officially entered my 30s era, I’ve noticed a significant shift—not just in life perspective, but in how I approach skincare. Gone are the days of impulse-buying products based on pretty packaging or hype alone. These days, my choices are more intentional, informed, and most importantly, tailored to my actual skin needs.

Over the years, I’ve come to understand that healthy skin isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, awareness, and giving your skin what it truly craves. I’ve traded in guesswork for curiosity and mindfulness, and with that has come a collection of skincare favorites that actually do what they promise.

So here’s a little peek into my current skincare haul—the products I’ve been loving and why they’ve earned a spot in my routine:

🧼Cleanser – Getting the Day Started Right🧼

I start my routine with a gentle yet effective cleanse using Siot's Ricejam Mask and Jeju Volcanic Lava Cleanser. The Ricejam Mask brings a softening, skin-refining touch, while the Jeju cleanser draws out impurities with volcanic ash, giving my skin a fresh, clean slate without stripping it dry.

I’ve been using a low-pH gel cleanser that keeps my skin feeling clean but never stripped. It’s soothing, non-drying, and helps maintain the delicate moisture barrier—something I’ve learned is crucial as my skin matures.

💧Hydrating Toners – Layered Nourishment💧

To drench my skin in hydration, I’ve been loving:

- Mediheal's Pink Collagen Toner Pads – super convenient and soothing, especially on days I’m in a rush.

- Pyunkang Yul's Calming Deep Moisture Toner – a calming, hydrating formula that preps my skin beautifully for what’s next.

This toner is all about lightweight hydration. Packed with hyaluronic acid and green tea extract, it preps my skin beautifully for the rest of my routine and gives that post-cleanse bounce that makes me feel instantly refreshed. Layering toners has helped boost my skin’s bounce and glow, which is something I never appreciated enough before my 30s.

✨Essence & Serums – Skin Goals in a Bottle✨

This is where the real magic happens in my routine:

- Dr. Belmeur Red Pro-Retinol Serum – my go-to for smoothing fine lines and adding firmness without irritation.

- Pyunkang Yul's Calming Moisture Serum – lightweight and perfect for calming down stressed, sensitive skin.

- And for the delicate under-eye area, TirTir's Collagen Lifting Eye Cream adds just the right amount of hydration and bounce.

These products work together to brighten, firm, and even out my skin tone while keeping everything gentle and balanced.

🧴Moisturizer – Locking It All In🧴

At night, I treat my skin to Pyunkang Yul's Calming Moisture Barrier Cream. It’s rich yet breathable—sealing in all the goodness from the previous steps while reinforcing my skin barrier with nourishing ingredients. No more waking up with dry patches!

In my 20s, I thought moisturizers were optional. In my 30s? Non-negotiable. I rotate between a gel-cream formula during the day and a richer, ceramide-packed moisturizer at night. Both support hydration and lock in the goodness from previous steps.

☀️Sunscreen – My Daily Armor☀️

Every single morning, I protect my skin with Tirtir's Hydro UV Shield Sunscreen. It’s featherlight, leaves zero white cast, and gives me a beautiful, healthy glow under makeup or on bare skin. Sunscreen is the non-negotiable that ties it all together.

If there’s one product I swear by, it’s a good broad-spectrum sunscreen. I finally found one that doesn’t leave a white cast, feels like nothing on the skin, and doesn’t clog my pores. The glow it gives is an added bonus!

✨️FINAL THOUGHTS💭

Skincare, for me, has become more than just a routine—it’s a form of self-respect and self-care. And while I’m still learning and refining, I hope sharing my current lineup might inspire someone else on their journey to radiant, balanced skin.

If any of these products have worked for you, too, I’d love to hear! Or if you're on the hunt for something new, maybe this list will give you a starting point.

Here’s to glowing smarter, not harder ✨
