2025 #9: HIGHLIGHTS ๐Ÿ—“ | February Photo Dump ๐Ÿ“ธ

✨️My Highlights from February✨️

February is the month where I say goodbye.

The second month of 2025 was an emotional whirlwind, filled with profound sorrow and deep reflection. Life is a series of highs and lows. While January was a time of excitement, busyness, and wonder, February brought an experience that altered the course of my life forever. In the first few days of the month, my father passed away unexpectedly, leaving me in a state of shock and immense grief. Even now, I am still processing the overwhelming emotions that come with losing someone so dear. In the wake of his passing, I made the difficult decision to cancel all my upcoming trips and plans for the month, choosing instead to focus on mourning, honoring his memory, and allowing myself the space to heal.

In the meantime, I paused my daily photo postings on Instagram throughout February. Life required my full attention as I focused on tackling the mountain of paperwork and cleaning my parents' apartment. It became imperative to take on the role of a responsible adult and support my mother, all while caring for my own baby. Balancing these responsibilities was no small feat—it felt like an emotional whirlwind. I experienced a mixture of raw, overwhelming feelings and a detached numbness that I had to push aside to stay strong and be there for her.

Our relationship has always been complicated, filled with unresolved tensions and emotional barriers, which only made everything ten times more challenging. Navigating this dynamic added an extra layer of difficulty to an already demanding situation.

As March begins, I’ve made a promise to myself: I will strive to return to my old routine and carve out time for much-needed self-care. I aim to revisit the activities that bring me joy and clarity—like journaling, immersing myself in a good book during precious spare moments, and reigniting my passion for writing by working on my blog post drafts. This month is about reclaiming a sense of normalcy and nurturing my own well-being, one step at a time.
